Known in Brazil as farinha de milho, this ingredient is probably as popular as the cassava root flour in Brazilian cooking. Commonly used to make farofas (Brazilian crumbs), to thicken sauces, to make cakes and to accompany lunch meals. Available from South American grocers and online*.
